EU sanctions force RT to cease journalistic activity of RT DE Productions in Germany

RT DE Productions, our German-based outlet, announced that it is ceasing journalistic activity, citing a crackdown on media freedom. RT's German-language channel will continue to operate and broadcast internationally from its headquarters in Moscow, nevertheless. RT Managing director Alexey Nikolov says international viewers won't have any trouble tuning in to RT, despite the Western bans.
