DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT: The lecture will analyse the restriction of fundamental rights in the COVID-19 pandemic. It will explain, with cases that the speakers have defended, how the COVID-19 pandemic is exacerbating existing human rights violations and enabling others. They will expose the different forms of violations they have observed in their countries due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, under the guise of extraordinary or emergency measures taken to deal with the pandemic.
