Wood Stork Resting After a Busy Day 🦩 01/29/23 16:20

After a busy day of foraging for food, the Wood Stork takes a break to rest by the lagoon. Although it appears the Stork is resting on its knees, the knee joint is actually up further on the leg, closer to the body, and the joint the Stork is resting on is its ankles. Which makes the Stork to be truly resting on its heels.
