Shasta County Supervisors discuss how to restore voter integrity. Four out of five admit that even though they were elected using Dominion tabulators, that they do not trust using machines to count votes. Cathy Darling, the county clerk in charge of elections, defends the machines and claims "it's not lawful to have a forensic audit" and that would include physical examination of the ballots and canvassing of voter rolls;

California also requires that machines must be used and sites elderly secret ballot issues as a reason. How was it done before tabulators were used? Are the California regulations constitutional? 2023 will be a challenging year for the issue of voter integrity in Shasta County.
