Violence flares at anti-govt protest in Peru

Tear gas filled the air of Lima as the Peruvian capital witnessed yet another round of violent anti-government protests that were prompted by the impeachment of former President Pedro Castillo. Meanwhile, the country's current leader, Dina Boluarte, has announced that she is prepared to step down - but only as soon as the date of a snap election is determined by Congress.
