Mr. Pekovich created a clamping fixture like a mini woodworker’s bench. Once this simple device is clamped to a work table, wood stock can be clamped in a variety of ways and orientations, allowing the wood to be planed, sawn, and shaped.
Originally designed to make demonstrations on the road more convenient, it’s now found an ongoing place in Pekovich’s shop.
DirtFarmerJay recently built a pair of these great tools - one for typical thickness stock and the other for more robust pieces. DFJ will take you through the basic process, and show you just how handy these can be - at a very reasonable price and moderate time investment - in your shop.
