The Kwan fly was originally tied for Bonefish but is has been a very good Redfish fly as well over the years. The craft fur tail provides lots of movement as does the Sili-Legs. The alternating colors in the tail and in the body provide lots of contract on the bottom or in the water column and really helps to draw the fish in. It is a simple fly to tie with the yarn body being the only real challenge to complete. I used wool yarn in the video but you could use a Sparkle Yarn or Polypropylene yarn as well. There is no weed guard on this fly but many people do place a weed guard just behind the eye of the hook.

- Enjoy
