After successfully calling his mate to the nest, the male Great Horned Owl leaves her there and flies up to the Fairway Branch. The two continue their territorial hoots for a few minutes. The female then flies up with her mate and they both continue with their territory hoots. At 06:52:48 a Barred Owl can also be heard and alerts both of the Great Horned Owls to look in that direction. The female then departs flying off into the background. Soon after, the male then flies up the tree off-cam.
