Grow Lettuce in the Winter

Take and old milk jug, cut it in half, add holes in the bottom for drainage, and insert a coffee filter. The coffee filter helps keep the dirt from falling through the drainage holes. Add soil, seeds, and then water. Sit your lettuce in a sunny window and in a few days, your lettuce should start to sprout!!
