NIKE RUNNING DOMINANCE (NIKE ALPHAFLY 2)

This video covers the Nike running dominance and how that may increase with their new shoes; Nike Alphafly 2, Nike Zoom fly 5 and the Nike Pegasus turbo nature

6 years ago, dates back to when we saw the first super shoe, at the Rio Olympics, well at least a prototype of a super shoe. That was when the vaporfly was born. Since then we had Nike dominate the road races with the Vaporlfy 4%, Vaporfly 4% flyknit and then the Nike Vaporfly next%. The next% took super shoes to the next level and was pretty much untouchable. Then came Kipchoges 2nd sub 2 attempt where he broke the 2 hour marathon barrier wearing the Alphafly. Well, a specifically designed Alphalfy. And although the alphafly to date is statistically the most efficient super shoe it hasn’t quite took full force like we saw in the Vaporfly. During the time to present, we’ve seen the Next% 2 released and many other brands catch up to Nike within the supershoe department.

Even the new Pegasus 39 has received a lot of love after some disappointing renditions over the last few years. We’ve already seen Nike athletes break both of the half marathon World records this year and we expect them to break many more in the near future with Jakob Ingebrigtsen, Jacob Kiplimo, Joshua Cheptegei, Aregawi, Kipyegon, Gidey, Niyonsaba and Hassan.
