Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction - Necromancer Playthrough - Part 12: Duriel, Lord of Pain

On the other side of the Arcane Sanctuary lies the Canyon of the Magi where Tal Rasha's Tomb and the main boss fight of Act 2 resides. However, there are 7 different tombs and only one is the real one. The Summoner's book in the Arcane Sanctuary provides a clue to the real one, but let's scour the fake tombs first to grind some XP, because the Necromancer gets a very helpful curse for the Act 2 main boss fight at level 24! Inside Tal Rasha's burial chamber lies the Lord of Pain, Duriel! This boss can be pretty tough for a Necromancer who relies mostly on his summoned minions to do the fighting for him (especially since there are no corpses to raise in Duriel's arena), but the Decrepify curse really helps by slowing his movement, halving his attack power, and amplifying the damage he suffers. Combine that with an ice-element Skeletal Mage slowing down Duriel's movement even further, and the fight becomes much more manageable.
