How To Get Fit (Hot Climates) | Koh Samui Gyms, Steps, Hydration, Nutrition, Massage & Wildlife

Thailand is a great place to get in very good shape very quickly. Everyday I have been walking from Peace Resort in Bophut to Teerak Gym in Mae Nam. This is a 40min walk there, followed by a 60min workout, and another 40min walk back. I have been eating twice a day, with some alcohol as well, but am still leaner than I am usually in the UK.

In this video I walk from Bophut Beach to Teerak Gym, then to Hippos Gym and then back to Peace Resort in Bophut Beach. I talk about hydration, training in Thailand, taking a break from supplements, accumulating steps, heat acclimatisation, massage, training intensity vs training volume, and I make a few stops to get coffee and fruit.

You don’t need to stay at a training camp to get fit, just walk everyday to a gym, train everyday, eat healthy food 1-2x/day and be very careful to hydrate properly. You should see some good results fairly quickly, again, as long as you eat sensibly. You can always out eat any level of physical activity if you choose to.

A few important points I didn’t cover in the video that supported my health, wellness and physique on this holiday.

- I have been sleeping 9-10hrs every night, when usually I sleep 6-7.
- My stress levels are very low, when usually I am consistently moderate to high.
- I have been in the sun and swimming in the sea daily, I rarely have either at home.
