UN human rights office calls for probe into protester deaths amid violent clashes in Peru

Peru's parliament has reaffirmed support for the prime minister and his cabinet following a wave of turmoil and violent anti-government rallies in the country. People have taken to the streets after former President Pedro Castillo was impeached and placed under arrest. Many of his supporters say that was unconstitutional.
