CROCHET Tutorial for Absolute Beginners

AMERICAN STANDARD Terminology
1. Slip Knot and Chain
2. Single Crochet
3. Half Double Crochet
4. Double Crochet
5. Treble Crochet (through 2 ch x 3)
6. Closing chain ring (often used in Granny Square and other patterns)
7. Crocheting into the centre hole of the chain ring (I'm using single crochet as an example).
TIP: Crochet over the loose end so you don't have to sew it in later.
8. Closing the first round with a slip stitch
9. Chain 1 ready for Round two (which I don't go into as I'll leave that for another video if people would like).
