Greeks dive for cross in traditional Epiphany celebration

Greeks celebrated Epiphany with water blessing ceremonies in the port city of Thessaloniki in northern Greece. A service was held at Saint Gregory Palamas Metropolitan Church, followed by the traditional ‘cross dive’ in the sea. Around 30 people took the plunge.
