Trump Voted Speaker By Gaetz | House Without A Speaker

Today Rep Matt Gaetz voted Donald Trump for Speaker during the 7th Speaker vote of 2023. Gaetz was the only congressman to vote for Trump during today's vote. A number of other representatives votes from Rep. Byron Donalds. In the 7th speaker vote that took place on January 5, 2023 no speaker was elected.
A situation in which congress cannot elect a speaker for this long has not happened since 1923. Many Republicans, like representative Matt Gaetz of Florida, have said that they will never vote for McCarthy for speaker. If enough republicans hold out, then it may be very difficult for McCarthy to ever attain the Speaker position.
How many speaker votes do you think that the house will have before a speaker is elected? With 7 already done, there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Kevin McCarthy responded to Gaetz' refusing to vote for him by saying that he is willing to do as many votes for speaker as it takes to be elected.
