California Democrat Representative Eric Swalwell was at the committee hearing this week when Special Counsel Robert Hur testified regarding his case against President Biden. Along with Swalwell, Schiff and others joined him in relentlessly defending Joe Biden and going after Hur in the most vicious way they could. Swalwell was previously kicked off the House Intel committee due to his relationship with a CCP Spy, ironically he is questioning Hur's authenticity. The Democrat Rep asked Hur if he would refuse a job offer from President Trump if reelected, to which he couldn't answer.

Spongebob Squarepants has had a profound impact on society as a whole. Much of Spongebob still applies to modern events, including the U.S. southern border oddly enough. Border States of America are bearing the brunt of illegal immigration. California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas are all along the southern border and have been experiencing difficulties for years at this point. In a 5-4 decision, The Supreme Court ruled that federal Border Patrol Agents can remove the barbed wire and barriers that Texas deployed in Shelby Park. This comes after Texas national guard removed all federal agents from Shelby Park, Eagle Pass, Texas. Governor Greg Abbott publicly stated that he will not comply with the SCOTUS ruling, citing Article 1 § 10 Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution, and will continue to occupy this 30 mile section of the border in Eagle Pass. Texas military have deployed razor wire along the border to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country. Republican Governors have voiced their support for Abbott as well as many Democrat urging President Biden to take drastic measures.

There have been tensions between federal border enforcement agents and Texas national guards who have been ordered to secure sections of the southern border. Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed laws that would allow enforcement to arrest illegal immigrants. Abbott also has declared a state of emergency and deployed the national guard to Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas. The Texas national guard removed all federal law enforcement agents from the area along the border. The state forces have deployed barbed wire and barriers in addition to riot shields used to keep people out. The Biden Administration DOJ and DHS have sent cease and desist letters to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton demanding Texas vacate Shelby Park. However, Texas remains defiant and is continuing to hold down the border in Eagle Pass.

Recent reports based on employment data from S&P 500 companies in 2021 tell a story about these corporations' goals. The Bloomberg article, "Corporate America Promised to Hire a Lot More People of Color. It Actually Did." analyzes the 300,000 employees hired by these key Americans companies based upon race. Executives have stated repeatedly that race plays a key role in hiring, this includes IBM, as reported on by O'Keefe Media Group. Additionally companies like United Airlines are launching initiatives to hire 50% black people or women in the fiscal year. President Biden has also made this a priority of the Administration through many different executive orders. Many argue that hiring practices such as this are in violation of the civil rights act. With all that is going on internationally, it may be easy to overlook the potential conflict brewing in South America between Venezuela and Guyana. In December of 2023 Venezuela held a nationwide referendum to determine whether or not the country would annex part of it's neighbor, Guyana. The land in question is known as the Essequibo, an area of land about the size of Florida. The Essequibo is a rich in minerals as well as oil reserves, and it also is the majority of Guyana's land mass. The President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro has made this claim to the Essequibo and has received push back from international governing bodies. Additionally, Guyana President Irfaan Ali has stated that he will not allow Venezuela to annex any of his country. Allies of Guyana have been outspoken, with the United Kingdom sending a British warship to the region. There has been negotiations between Ali and Maduro, but nothing significant has come from them.

Former President Donald Trump took a break from his busy campaign to play the new Lego Fortnite. This newest update of Fortnite includes a new Lego survival game mode. President Trump had a good time starting town, gathering resources and building a wall in the game. Trump doesn't often get time to play video games, but when he does he enjoys it. With the Iowa Republican Primary voters casting their ballots in a few weeks, President Trump still remains the front runner among the candidate field. The 2024 Presidential Election is less than 11 months away, and currently Donald Trump is beating Joe Biden in the polls. In November unrest took over Ireland as riots broke out over the stabbing over children by an Algerian migrant. Riots and chaos took to the streets of Dublin in response to the attack on Irish children. In response, Irish officials including law enforcement, legislators and the Prime Minister called out far right ideology and hatred against immigrants. Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar called for the swift enactment of new hate speech laws that target individuals speech online. This includes on social media platforms, for which users will now be criminally responsible for any posting or possession of hateful content. MMA lightweight champion Conor McGregor has been vocal about his opinions of the Irish government, and has hinted at running for Prime Minister.

Currently, the United States of America is facing an existential threat due to the unfettered and constant pipeline of immigration through the southern border. In the past 3 years the volume of illegal migrants crossing into the United States has exponentially increased. For every 1 illegal entry into the U.S under Trump, 4 illegal entries happened under Biden. There is at least 4 times as many people illegally entering America under President Biden and the current administration. None of this is without cause. Prior to his election in 2020, former Vice President Joe Biden announced to the world to "surge the border" once he's elected, and that is exactly what is happening. The Biden Department of Homeland Security has a pattern of enabling illegal immigration into the United States. We can speculate endlessly, but America will make a choice.

Outside the courthouse in New York City, where Donald Trump is in court for the fraud trial brought against him. Trump spoke to reporters outside of the courtroom, a distinct difference from the current guy in the white house. Reporters asked President Trump if he would be the speaker of the house, as many in the Republican party have floated that idea. To which Trump said that he will help the Republican party any way that he can. He also said that there are some great people in congress who would fit the role. Trump was asked a handful of other questions as well before he returned to court.

In early February 2023 a train carrying tons of toxic chemicals derailed in the small town of East Palestine, Ohio. Shortly after the derailment local officials decided it was the best idea to burn the chemical in the derailed cars before there is the potential for a larger uncontrollable explosion. Resulting from the chemical burn, a huge chemical plume of smoke covered the sky, effectively contaminating the air and water. Many locals expressed frustration with state officials handling of the emergency. As a result many felt forgotten. President Trump visited East Palestine on February 22 and arrived with some relief supplies. Shortly after Trump's visit, the White House announced that it would send aid to East Palestine as well. John Kirby, national security advisor, said in a press conference that they have no idea how sensitive military documents were leaked to the public. Last week, military information regrading the war in Ukraine was leaked and floating around all over the internet. John Kirby said that the government does not know how extensive the leak is and if other information may be leaked in the future.
