Flagged Broken Crossings Downtown Iron Mountain, Plus A Big Buck Crossing The Road! | Jason Asselin

As Escanaba and Lake Superior Railroad locomotive ELS 501 (SD40-2) headed north today they needed to stop in Iron Mountain, MI where the historic train depot sits vacant today. Many years back this is where the Milwaukee Road passenger train would stop before going north to Calumet in the Keweenaw. The flagman/ brakeman/ conductor took care of the intersection as the train came by, then repeated the process at the next road over. Apparently that storm a few nights back really did some damage!
On my way to catch some more action this BIG BUCK jumps out running I guess from the train, that part is pretty cool! Hope you guys like this video!
