Marriage of Heart & Mind: A Phenomenological Application of The One Eye Integration Techniques

Through traumas, we can become separated from emotional and somatic realities in our lives. Through the use of a powerful new series of brain hemisphere integration procedures (One Eye Integration Techniques), we can learn to feel and acknowledge our emotional states.

Sometimes our clients isolate their thinking from their feeling just as they may have been isolated and ostracized in their families of origin. Self-actualization is facilitated as they work through shock to understand & experience connections between their critical/analytical and emotional/somatic sides. Once this 'head & heart' connection is achieved, they can establish loving, supportive and nurturing relationships with themselves that they need to grow.

This is a 3-hour experiential workshop, in which specific techniques will be demonstrated and applied in triads. Authors of the book Toward Integration: One Eye at a Time are the presenters.

Educational Objectives:
1) Gain an understanding of the new brain hemisphere integration procedures.
2) Experience specific techniques of One Eye Integration Therapy.
3) Learn how to apply the One Eye Therapy techniques in counselling.
