A spin off from the show "Soap", this is butler Benson in his own show.
Written again by Susan Harris, so has much of the same similar humour, if a little more toned down.

This is Season One Episode One from Sept 1979, and the episode is actually called "Pilot".
In this first episode..........

Benson arrives to help the Governor with his transition to the mansion, meanwhile he helps prevent the deportation of beavers from the state that would inhibit the building of a multi-billion dollar industry.
