Beginning At the End of the Line

Margot Cotten and the Russian copy band, Leonid and Friends end 2022 and begin 2023 for today's Segue City Special. Today is the time when everybody gets hot and heavy on the usual resolutions trail about all the wonderful things they're going to do in the new year and normally that mindset lasts for a week or two and then fades to black... but here's a novel idea - just take each day as it comes to you as an opportunity for something good to happen to you - an opportunity to do something good for someone else - to do something that will last and just be.

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
