Kylian Mbappe and Neymar BACK in PSG training as French giants get set for Ligue 1 restart

Kylian Mbappe and Neymar trained alongside each other on Tuesday ahead of Paris Saint-Germain's Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg.

World Cup winner Lionel Messi has taken time off until the New Year, but finalist Kylian Mbappe has already returned to training alongside Achraf Hakimi, who made history of his own by reaching the semi-finals with Morocco.

Christophe Gaultier's side go into Wednesday's encounter as one of only two sides alongside Napoli in Europe's top five leagues that remain unbeaten. PSG also won their two winter friendlies also ended in victory, with a 2-1 win over Paris FC preceding a 3-1 success over Quevilly Rouen.

The reigning French champions are looking to extend their unbeaten Ligue 1 streak at the Parc des Princes to a remarkable 30 matches since losing 1-0 to Lille in April 2021.

PSG sit top of Ligue 1 five points clear of Lens in second with Strasbourg currently in 19th place in the table.
