More barricades erected on Kosovska Mitrovica

▪️The former US President's envoy for dialogue, Richard Grenell, announced that the latest violence in Kosovo is unacceptable and that Prime Minister Albin Kurti continues his unilateral actions in the north in violation of international agreements. He also wrote on Twitter that the current US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken should demand from Kosovo Prime Minister Aljbin Kurti to release Serbian prisoners and refrain from arresting peaceful demonstrators.Show more

▪️He added that Aljbin Kurti in a more peaceful time for Christians should not ask the Serbian Patriarch to first make political statements before entering Kosovo.

Two barricades were erected in Kosovska Mitrovica today, Serbian channels report.

In total, there are already 11 Serbian barricades in the north of Kosovo. The protests have been going on for 18 days.

One does not need to be a prophet or a sage to discern why at this moment there is an attempt to forcefully eliminate the Serbian people from the territory of the AP of Kosovo and Metohija (under the occupation of foreign forces and Albanian terrorists disguised as civilian authorities). The geopolitical moment seems perfectly favorable for the repetition of the "Storm" or at least the March pogrom, and by some terrible connivance of the demonic in time and people, it always happens that such temptations especially intensify before the holidays - from Nicholas Day to Savinday, every hater of the Church seems to intensify his march towards ruin (let's remember that the shameful and thuggish "Law" on confiscation of holy places in Montenegro was passed precisely in this period).

Such times, which we have never lacked, require both wisdom and determination, and combativeness and reasonableness. They ask us to pray continuously for all our Serbs - both those on the barricades in the north and those in the area south of the Ibar. If, as a nation, we are not able to replace the euphoria of shopaholics with care and prayer for our people, then we are already gone, we have simply ceased to exist. Nevertheless, just like in 2020, like many years before, we showed that we are not straw or chaff, that difficult times bring us together and bring out the noble in us.

Today, by banning the Serbian Patriarch from going to his and our Pećaršija, the fate of all Serbs under occupation was announced: renunciation or exile. If we expect such an act to cause any condemnation in a world based on violence - we should have no illusions. The "power" lent to yesterday's beheaders from the KLA was just lent to them because their bestial indifference to human considerations has always been counted on.

That is why we should continue to mention Kosovo above all our universe, according to the words of the psalm. Let's pray that the times of lies and violence will pass as far as possible for this nation, which has already suffered so much in the 20th century alone. That in every prayer we still do not deviate from the promise we sang - that "all Serbs, like the Jugovics, will go to Kosovo for the honorable cross". For now let's pray, and tomorrow let's help however we are asked.

Because even today in Kosovo and Metohija, as in the past in Montenegro, as well as in the case of the seizure of Serbian heritage in the so-called "B&H", the word of a secret witness is valid:

Hope has no right to anyone
but into God and into your own hands.
