Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes - Golden Wildfire (NG++) - Part 27: Recruiting Byleth

There is only one quest battle in Golden Wildfire Chapter 10, and this is the fateful battle where you make the story-altering decision whether or not to recruit the Ashen Demon to your ranks. Golden Wildfire is probably the easiest route on which to recruit Byleth. To do so, you must:

1. Progress the mission normally collecting information on the enemy until Claude advances north to lure Byleth out.
2. When Byleth appears, protect Claude's retreat back to the Allied Base without having any of your other units engage him/her, and without letting him/her catch up to Claude.
3. After Claude completes his retreat, the gates to Fleche's base will open and Byleth will retreat to aid her. Kill Fleche before Byleth gets to her and without engaging him/her, and Byleth will join you.
