GRIZZLY 1976 - A park ranger attempts to halt the wild rampage of an 18 foot tall & 2,000 lb man-eating Grizzly Bear that is terrorizing a National Forest, the beast having developed a taste for human flesh. Drunk campers and careless hunters complicate things for him.

B-Movie Director William Girdler's seventh feature film, and he hit the luck of number 7 with it. Considered a Jaws cash-in and not hiding it, GRIZZLY used many of the same plot devices as Jaws, and became a huge box office success. Since it was a land beast, Universal didn't see a way to sue like with Great White. Girdler made a pretty slick B-movie that brought in A-movie box office receipts.
