Hey Guys! Welcome back to my channel and welcome to Day 19 of Vlogmas.
In today’s video I bring you 3 brand new recipes for Pecan Candy just in time for Christmas.
I got each of them from my favorite go to source for new recipes, Pinterest.
The first one is Pecan Pralines. Although my batch didn’t quite set right initially they still turned out a hit with the kids.
The second recipe is for Candied Pecans.
This recipe is good for someone who loves pecans but not a lot of overwhelming candy.
Recipe three is by far my favorite. It’s another Candied Pecan recipe that’s cooked in the oven versus on the stovetop. I was amazed at the end product. This is the kind of Candied Pecans that you would find at a gourmet candy store or online from The Swiss Colony. I was impressed with the simplicity of the recipe.
I hope that you will find one that you will try to make and enjoy for this Christmas season.

Pecan Pralines Recipe #1:
3 Cups Pecans, rough chopped
1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Cup Whole Milk
12 Tablespoons Real Butter
1 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan. Heat over low heat stirring often until the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil then turn down to medium heat. Let the mixture continue to boil for 3 minutes stirring constantly with a wooded spoon. It will bubble up pretty high. Let cook for another 3 minutes to eliminate the problem that I had in which they didn’t set. Remove from heat and stir for 2 minutes. It will start to thicken.
Using a cookie lines with parchment paper drop be tablespoons full. This is a double batch so you should end up with around 24 pralines.
Let cool and allow to firm up. Store in an airtight container.

Candied Pecans Recipe #2:
2 Cups Whole Pecans
4 Tablespoons Salted Butter
3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon White Sugar
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Pinch of Salt
Melt butter in a medium size skillet. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over medium high heat until all of the sugar has dissolved and forms a syrup. Remove from heat and pour out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Let cool completely and store in an airtight container.

Candied Pecans Recipe #3:
1 Pound Whole Pecans
1 Large Egg White
1 Tablespoon Water
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Heat oven to 250 degrees F.
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl whisk together egg white, water and vanilla. Whisk until frothy.
Pour pecans in the egg whites and toss until well coated.
I’m another bowl mix together white sugar, cinnamon and salt. Sprinkle over pecans and toss until we’ll coated. Pour out on the cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Once the hour is up remove from the oven and let cool completely before storing in an airtight container. Enjoy!
