Continuing coverage of latest models regarding the upcoming blizzard in the Great Lakes Region. A Colorado low will form ahead of an arctic vortex. This low will deepen and begin bombogenesis in Michigan next week. A sharp pressure change between the bomb cyclone and arctic vortex will allow for wind gusts up to 50mph or more, with additional potential for 12"+ of snow across western Michigan, where the lake will already enhance already falling system snow. Snow will likely continue through Christmas, leaving at least a couple days of cleanup for the area.
