A new catch phrase has emerged that is caputring tons of attention and being spread across all social media platforms. 'Quiet Quitting'

But who does quiet quitting really hurt the employer or the employee?

And lets be real hear 'quiet quitting' was around long before they coined a new phrase for it!

Some definitions from a Harvard Review Article

The term “quiet quitting” refers to employees who put no more effort into their jobs than absolutely necessary.

Or

“Quiet quitters continue to fulfill their primary responsibilities, but they’re less willing to engage in activities known as citizenship behaviors: no more staying late, showing up early, or attending non-mandatory meetings.”
