At the Movies With Robert & Ingrid: Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam & Other DC Shorts

Today starts a trilogy of videos where Ingrid & I go over the the various DC Animated Shorts! This first batch, collected in the Superman/Shazam blu-ray, featured the titular characters as well as Green Arrow, The Spectre, and Jonah Hex. We also added a Catwoman short called Chase Me

The Catwoman: Chase Me short was a simple experiment where they did a whole adventure between Batman and Catwoman with not Audio except the music! It was cute and well made.

Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam gave us a self contained origin for Captain Marvel that involved Superman and Black Adam! VERY well made and you felt it was longer (In a good way)

The Spectre gave us a nice 60's Noir/60's Horror (like Rosemary's Baby) blend where Jim Corrigan, a Detective, is investigating the murder of the father of an old girlfriend...and the perps suffer VERY morbid fates!

Green Arrow focuses on the titular character protecting a young royal girl from assassination, all contained in an airport! ALL the while he wants to propose to Black Canary

Jonah Hex features the scared bounty hunter looking for his recent contract who was last seen with a prostitute...who always meets with the rich people who enter the bar...they go upstairs and never come back. Will Hex be next?

These were ALL amazing shorts, great representation of the characters!
