What in the Heck are Butter Mints?!

Buttermints

• 1 lb powdered sugar (10x)
• 1/4 tsp peppermint flavoring (found near the extracts in the baking aisle)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 c melted butter
• 2 Tb hot water

1. Combine all ingredients together and mix until smooth. It should be a smooth, dough-like consistency. Add more powdered sugar if needed.
2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Press into molds and place on baking sheet **or** roll into small balls, place on baking sheet, and press with fork to flatten.
4. Allow to dry overnight.
5. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
