Ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come! Big Run is finally here, and Salmonids have invaded Wahoo World, Inkopolis's favorite amusement park! Thankfully, Mr. Grizz came prepared with one of his own personal weapons, the Grizzco Blaster!

Because we're fighting to save the city on top of grabbing Golden Eggs, Big Run offers increased rewards compared to a normal Salmon Run. Normally the rewards cap at 1200, but here they cap at 2400, and you also gain 1.2x Catalog XP just like in Splatfests.

Big Run also keeps track of your highest score in a single shift, which will be used in the final rankings. All participants in this particular Big Run will get a Cohozuna trophy, with different grades based on your high score. If your high score is in the bottom 50% of all players, you get a green trophy. If your high score ranks in the top 50%, you get a bronze trophy. If your high score ranks in the top 20%, you get a silver trophy, and if your high score ranks in the top 5%, you get a gold trophy. There are also Splashtag badges for higher ranks.

Some of the nighttime waves have also been removed for Big Run. The only three nighttime waves I encountered yesterday were Glowflies (*shudder*), the Mothership, and Fog. Today I also encountered Grillers. No Giant Tornado, no Mudmouths, no Gushers, no Cannons, none of the fun stuff.
