Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Wave 3 Time Trials - 3DS Rainbow Road (150cc) - 1:44.740

With all of the Grand Prix cups completed on all difficulties for the Wave 3 tracks from the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, let the Time Trials begin! For the first one, I'm going to the track I've been looking forward to playing the most from this wave, 3DS Rainbow Road!

Like the remake of N64 Rainbow Road before it, this is a one-lap race divided into 3 sections. There are no major shroom shortcuts on this track, so feel free to use one to give yourself an extra boost off the starting line. On the 360-degree turn in section 1, you'll want to trick off each ramp as late as possible to stay close to the inside of the track as you pick up speed. In section 2, you'll want to do as many tricks off the wavy road as possible before dropping onto the moon below. In section 3, the ground is faster than the air.
