You Can't Legislate Moral Law

During a discussion with an Uber passenger the other day, someone told me that her brother in law was told he was going to hell for being gay by another Christian. That saddens me. There is no easy way to answer that question without offending SOMEONE. And that's the way Satan wants it. Sin has become so normalized and we've been conditioned to believe things that aren't so. Can that sin send you to hell, sure, but so can any number of sins that Im guilty of. What WILL send you to hell is an unrepentant heart. And this world has conditioned us to believe our feelings over God's truth. Sin is fun (usually). It's enjoyable. It's also temporary. It holds us in bondage to the next high that evaporates and leaves us wanting more, which leaves us incapable of truly honoring God's commandment of loving Him first and others as ourselves. If we believe God made us a certain way and then will condemn us for owning that identity, we won't trust that he is a good God or one worthy of being praised- so we certainly won't repent. Salvation is a free gift that offers ETERNAL LIFE to those who repent. And when you truly repent, the lies of the world begin to become clear, and you find that you are not along in your struggle that your flesh wages against your spirit. Those issues are at the heart of declining faith in the world today, as morality is being flipped on it's head. We discuss tonight on Truth Radio. www.truth-radio.com
