‘Don’t worry about that’ – Putin dismisses oil price cap concerns

Speaking at a press conference following the Eurasian Economic Union summit in Kyrgyzstan, the Russian president commented on the recently adopted price cap for Russian oil, introduced by a number of Western states, saying that ‘the cap that was proposed is very much in accordance with the price that we using to sell oil and gas right now,’ describing the move as a ‘foolish decision.’
