Involuntary hospitalization policy for homeless introduced in NYC

New York’s mayor has introduced a new policy that would allow police to remove and even to temporarily detain people they consider mentally ill, in an attempt to get the homeless off the streets. Caleb Maupin explores the policy's more worrying implications.
