Great Horned Owls First Nest Appearance Together 🦉 12/06/22 21:50

The male Great Horned Owl arrives back at the nest,, hooting to his mate. He pecks around at the nest, picking up a pinecone and moving it. Within a minute, the female arrives at the Fairway Branch, hooting to her mate. She jumps down to the nest, looking curious at what her mate is pecking at. The two make hoots and grunts at one another, then the male flies away. The female takes over where the male left off moving things out of the nest bowl. She remains for quite a while, pecking around and observing the nest before she finally takes off to be with her mate.
