Protests in Mongolia’s Ulaanbaatar prompted by persistent coal-export theft reports

Reports of corruption and allegations of theft within Mongolia’s coal trade with China has prompted a series of rallies in the capital city, Ulaanbaatar, with protesters demanding that the names of suspects, who protesters believe may include high-ranking politicians, be disclosed.
