2023 Dodge Challenger/Charger Blacktop Special Edition – 7th Last Call?

Dodge announced a new Special Edition car for the 2023 model year. It’s the 2023 Blacktop Special Edition for the SXT, GT and R/T trims, for Charger and Challenger.

The Blacktop Special Edition Package adds upon the regular Blacktop Package (Code ADX), coming with 20 inch by 8 black satin rims, satin black rear decklid spoiler, grill and logos and script and two piece Rhombi center caps.

The Blacktop Special Edition Package (Code AGC) adds front and rear Splash Guards, black exhaust tips and REAL Carbon Fiber Interior Accents (Code XSQ), for an added cost of $400 (the regular Blacktop is required).

Interior is limited to Houndstooth or if the Plus Package is selected in black interior only.

Some bad news for interiors though, as DC Dealer Connect no longer shows any options for Demonic Red Alcantara interior, nor the Sepia Alcantara interior. Normally allocated options that exceed a dealership’s limit will appear in red, but the color interiors do not appear at all. I can’t say if the options hold true for the Hellcats (possible only Jailbreaks may have these options)

The V6 (and the R/T) are not cars anyone should be ashamed about. They are well priced, cheaper than many regular cars, have style, comfort, are easy to maintain. And most importantly, they are still part of the Brotherhood of Muscle!
