Canada: Telus workers call on MPs to protect telecom jobs – November 29, 2022

In a news conference on Parliament Hill, Donna Hokiro, president of the United Steelworkers union (USW) Local 1944, calls on the federal government to pass legislation to prevent the outsourcing of jobs and the hiring of replacement workers in the Canadian telecom industry. Employees of Telus, who are represented by the USW, will be meeting with MPs to discuss their concerns.
