So have you ever looked at your phone & wondered how could I possibly make this thing even more annoying.
Well fear not because Glance is a new app launching in the US within the next 2 months with the purpose to basically put ads right on your lockscreen.
This means that every time you turn on your phone THE first thing you’ll be greeted with is a discover page full of ads.
CEO Tewari says that consumers will move away from seeking content to consuming what is shown to them.
“In other words you will eat whatever I give you to eat.”
The app will also ofc be able to serve up a ton of personal data to advertisers for targeting & tracking.
Oh and btw Google is an investor in Glance & they list phone makers such as Xiaomi & Samsung as partners.
And you can probably expect to have this app preinstalled on some newer phones in the future.
