RTX 40 series delayed due to overstock of GPUs

Video transcript:
With all the recent good news about GPUs we seem to be balancing out with some bad news as well.
Apparently most of Nvidia’s RTX 40 series cards will be released next year in 2023 and not this fall as previously expected.
All but the highest end card that is, the 4090 should still be announced this September.
Now this is all non-officially confirmed news, but it does make a lot of sense as Nvidia seems to be currently holding too many RTX 30 series GPUs due to overproduction & the market being oversaturated by crypto miners dumping their old mining cards.
And as I’ve previously said in the past, if a new generation of GPUs would launch in a few months, there would probably be a big oversupply of GPUs, which would be great for us the consumers, but not so much for the companies making them.
