Instagram’s becoming an online retailer?!?

So Instagram has a new way of making money, by basically becoming an online retailer.
The app is adding a new feature where users can purchase items from small businesses directly on the app.
Basically, you can chat with a business like:
“Oh hey.. So like is this backpack like good or?”
“Oh yeah it’s like totally awesome bro”
“Cool I’d like to order one then”
“Okay here’s an invoice”
And boom you just bought something through a chat on Instagram.
This does of course make a lot of sense for Instagram as they will of course be making a margin on every purchase, instead of having their users buy things through an external website.
