Facebook & Instagram are tracking everything you do

Facebook and Instagram are tracking everything you see, click and or interact with in any way.
This has been discovered by a researcher for the iOS versions of the apps which is a big deal because of Apple’s app tracking transparency feature that was implemented to make such tracking known to the users.
However this pretty much completely bypasses that as it just injects some JavaScript code into the in-app browser that can then pretty much track everything you do.
Even stuff like what passwords & credit card numbers you enter on various websites.
The parent company Meta of course said they don’t collect sensitive information, which means absolutely nothing to me personally.
So make sure to use your browser apps instead of the more convenient in-app browsers.
