No, AOC. You don't get to push all these socialist and evil laws and then have the hypocrisy to invole the Bible. You don't get to call for churches to be shut down first during the pandemic and now invoke "religious freedom." You don't get to berate actual people of faith for exercising their belief that "MAN and WOMAN created He them." You don't get to protest in the streets screaming "illegitimate" for RvW being overturned when "Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee." You don't get to push "gender affirming care" on children and force them away from parents who want to raise them with Christian morals when "whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and drown in the depth of the sea." Sure, Jesus said "Love thy neighbor" but he also overturned tables and drove people out of His Temple when they were practicing evil. He called out the Pharases and Sadusees constantly saying "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." He said, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." Christlike love is the greatest need we have on this planet in part because righteousness was always supposed to accompany it. So if love is to be our watchword, as it must be, then by the word of Him who is love personified, we must forsake transgression and any hint of advocacy for it in others. Jesus clearly understood what many in our modern culture seem to forget: that there is a crucial difference between the commandment to forgive sin (which He had an infinite capacity to do) and the warning against condoning it (which He never ever did even once).
