The Bible is a scam to scare idiots out of their money

If you looking for the most important con artist story, of the Bible the Ananias & Sapphria story is it. The story goes, all the early converts to the church were selling all their worldly goods & bringing the money to the apostles feet. But one married couple sold their stuff & only brought some of the money, they kept a little. They were asked is this all the money. Yes the lied, then they died. Case closed, the Bible is one big scam. This is the most important story in the Bible. All the rest is just decortation. Here, you have the mechanism to scare idiots into giving you all their money. How much money to idiots have? Wouldn’t you think idiots, don’t make a lot of money because no one would pay them a lot. Maybe that doens’t matter, they will now feel afraid not to give it all to you, even if it’s only a little. Embarasing as it is, I remember reading this verse for the first time, and thinking that’s it, this book is just a hook to get money from idiots. Here are things that made me reconsider. The Bible has so many negative things to say about wealth that if you were creating this scam, you would harmonize your messaging about wealth. You wouldn’t have so many passages that would make it look suspicious if the leaders were flexing their filly wealth. You’d scrub out all those verse condemning verses about money, like Jesus saying most rich people aren’t going to be saved. You’d insert verses said Christian leaders deserved be filfhy rich & live in luxury. It was their karma. Still Ananias & Sapphria didn’t deserve to die for a lie. People lie all the time & don’t drop dead. The difference is, when this happened, people just saw the resurrected Christ. MIracles abound. The apostles shadow was healing the sick. In that climate of miracles galore they was less of an excuse to doubt God & disobey him. It seems fair that if God shows you more miracles than others, you will be judged more harshly if you disobey God. this selling all your stuff & giving all your money to you christian leader, was a recounting of a one time event, not a command to be practiced forever more. When Paul tried to raise money to help the down & out, he didn’t say you better give everything or you will drop dead. & paul wasn’t raising that money so he could buy a yacht. According to paul he worked & set the example that leaders in the church provide for themselves, when he asked for money it was to give to people who were going through hard times. Further the apostles according to Paul, lived terrible lives, he wrote this about apostles “To this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed, and are roughly treated, and are homeless; and we toil, working with our own hands; ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭4:11-12‬ ‭ If the Bible were a scam Paul would have said, he’s living it up, & keep sending all your money to the leaders, & let them live it up to, or you will drop dead. But through Paul’s example it would be very hard to for a christian leader to try to live fancy & avoid labor, while collecting money from hard working people, sure people have done it, but they are going to have to answer to God for it, & it’s obvious they are not obeying God.
