SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk sits down and discusses the beginning of SpaceX and how the project was seen by many as crazy. Elon himself says that for adjusted risk return starting a rocket company was perhaps not the best idea for a business. But there was a much bigger picture in play being that rocket technology needed to improve if humans were going to ever leave earth.

So Musk began SpaceX with the goal in mind of improving rocket technology so that humans were able to become a multi-planetary species out among the stars. Now with his vision in sight those crazy ideas are finally coming to fruition for the entrepreneur and inventor.
