Nights are getting colder so making something easy that is nice and warm and yummy is hard. So here is something to help you out!

Beef Stew, very easy, takes a bit longer depending on the cut of beef you use. The easiest way to check is to taste :)

So here is an easy stew you can make for the whole family

PS... I have an extremely vocal cat, and he loves being annoying me when I am trying to shoot so that is where the shut-ups come from

Ingredients:
Oil
2 Medium Onions
2 Small Green Peppers
250g Packet of Button Mushrooms
4 Large Carrots
Garlic to taste
Mild Peppadews to taste
1 Block Beef Stock
7 Small potatoes cut in quarters or smaller
Beef Stew Meat - 800g - 1kg
Wine - lots (more or less a glass or to taste)
1 Large spritzer (Optional but highly recommended)

Method:
Take a large pot and put some oil in and let it heat up
Add onions, green pepper, and mushrooms and fry until mushrooms are soft and onions light brown - stir often
Put the mixture in a separate bowl and leave the oil behind
Add the meat and fry until they are nice and brown
Add the mixture back to the meat
Dissolve the beef stock cube in some boiling water, add to pot
Add Garlic and Peppadews
Add boiling water until pot is almost full
Simmer on low heat for 30 min to let meat soften
Add potatoes, carrots, salt, and spices
Let simmer on medium heat for another 30 min
Thicken sauce with cornflower or Bisto
ENJOY!

Serve with Rice or Pasta of your choice
