New Bread Creation Living. (1 Corinthians 5:6-8)

Passover Lamb and unleavened bred. See stuff like this in Matthew about Pharisee yeast and it find myself wondering, what it is about them that looks and feels so parallel. Could both be "religion" acting the stuff of relationship and causing death wherever it goes rather than the life that is meant to be? There are a lot of things that end up being that yeast. Idols that we worship instead of GOD, chains we will put on because freedom is scary. But we are not given a spirit of fear but a sound mind, ... (finish the rest of it for me. ^.^) we aren't meant to function in fear. Fear has to do with punishment and perfect love casts out all fear (1 John.) So! To borrow from Paul, "..let us celebrate the festival, not with the old bread of wickedness and evil, but with the new bread of sincerity and truth." As we go into Thanksgiving (for those of you celebrating it as you see this, or any day really.) Let us give thanks, not because we have to, but because we get to, for the dead cannot praise the LORD and the lost do not know how.
