South Australia is in the midst of its worst power blackout in six years after severe storms lashed the state over the weekend.
SA Power Networks believe the 65,000 homes and businesses which remain without electricity today may not be reconnected to the grid until tomorrow afternoon.
The power outage has prompted the state's education department to close around 50 schools across Adelaide due to ongoing storm damage.
