COVID-19 regulations to ease across China
China has announced it will ease it’s COVID-19 restrictions despite a rise in the number of cases.
A mandatory quarantine period of seven days in a state facility for close contacts has been reduced to five and a further three days at home.
Secondary contacts will no longer be recorded.

The man who inspired the movie ‘The Terminal’ has died at the Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris.
The Iranian – Mehran Karimi Nasseri - better known to airport staff as Alfred Mehran or Sir Alfred, died of natural causes at terminal two.
He lived at the airport for 34 years after being refused entry into England because he had no documents.
France also denied him entry in 1988 when he decided to settle on a plastic bench at the airport's shopping mall.
Tom Hanks played ‘Sir Alfred’ in the 2004 award-winning film after the refugee's story came to the attention of Hollywood director Steven Spielberg.

A 9-year-old boy has died with another in critical condition after getting trapped in a garage door in Melbourne's southwest.
Police, ambulance and firefighters were called to assist in the rescue, but paramedics pronounced one of the children dead at the scene.
At least 21 people dead from a bus crash in Egypt
At least 21 people have been killed and six injured after a minibus crashed into a canal in northern Egypt.
The bus was carrying 35 people when it veered off the highway in a province 100 kilometres north-east of Cairo.
Local media outlets are reporting the incident was caused by the steering wheel malfunctioning and Egypt's health ministry has confirmed three children were among the dead.
